This introductory residential auditing project consisted of proposing energy efficient retrofit recommendations based on Site analysis, Climate analysis, Heat Loss Calculations, Energy Consumption, Light, and appliance usage. After a thorough analysis of these, strategies had to be devised to improve the present scenario that would yield Energy savings, Cost savings and would assure long-term payback by implementation of those. Also, transmission losses, heat losses, water consumption, fuel consumption, electricity consumption were devised in order to get overall consumption data which was worked upon.
