As a part of 'Performance of Advanced Building Studies' course, a project was carried out to develop a retrofitting proposal for the upper floors of a 100-year-old historic Benedum Trees building in Downtown Pittsburgh.

The aim of this project was to imbibe modern technologies while maintaining the cultural heritage value of the building and trying to make it a carbon neutral proposal in order to meet the 2030 Challenge.
